7 students has been suspended due to the cause of the protest at the inrogeration of the BIT । But Waht is 5th batch student doing? there batch 6th student now suspended. More than 5 student will be suspended in 5th batch, our new union president my be Suspend .

I writing this is a critical time where the things that we can do is actually limited. I think you all know the cause that 7 students including 6 from our batch has been suspended due to the cause of the protest at the inorgeration of the BIT.Though the correctness of this act is doubtful as per my personal opinion we as a batch have to stand on the side to try to minimize this punishment or to eliminate it. So its very important to take a decision on this and where we stand as our decision will have a crucial impact on the entire faculty.
The day before there was an suddenly called union meeting and lot of our juniors pointed out that they should stand against the decision and fight for it. Here representing our batch myself and nadeesha we made it very clear that any decision should be taken after understanding the issue. And it will take some time for us to come up with a decision of the batch. And any action taken should be done with full intention of minimizing the damage but not spreading it.
Any way the decision has been made though we stand against it that there will be a prevention of attending lectures till some thing happens from tomorrow. As we are on training we can do nothing against or for that.But i strongly believe any action taken should be done with the idea of eliminating the problem not increasing it and i stand against this decision.
So we have to come to a decision of where we stand and for what we support and not.
I kindly request all of you to come up with the decision that
Whether we should support the student union on the actions that they are willing to take.
What kind of actions that we should taken to minimize the punishment of the students as a batch.
Any other idea that you wish to point out.
Please make it very clear that some times there will no coming back if we start some actions and will have to continue it till the end no matter what will happen. And every one will have to bear the responsibility once accepted.
So when you make the decision please be sure that you consider all the consequences.
Further more please note that i will have to forward all your replies to other batch mates as well.(so forward your reply to all batch so i don’t have to do that )

Hi all,
In my opinion I think that all those basters (except Warun Kanishka Perera) really deserve that punishment because of the way they handle the situation, I’m telling it like that because they never listen or respect what other people tells and if we tell something they tells us that “we are going Kade to Dr. Ajith Madurapperuma“. And they really stress that on the last Union meeting ( which held prior to 2nd December). And one thing I must tell you that the one person who got involve in doing the site for BIT @UOM is a past office barer of TI faculty student union who did the protest very severely on the road in front of Borella premises but during the last thing he was not in the scene but I don’t know what was his share. So what I can’t understand is that are all these people shouting for $$? I think that everybody have a right to express their opinion, I also loved to here your true feedback on this.
When there are people around you when there is a bottle of Arrack and a packet of cigarettes I think the person who is giving them is not a friend he’s a blood sucker.
